The town of Nags Head is located in Dare County, North Carolina and is a part of the Outer Banks, a popular vacation destination. The town rests on Jockey’s Ridge, the largest sand dune along the East Coast. The shifting of the dune has enveloped a mini golf course and the Old Nags Head hotel along the way.
